Raw Goat Dairy
We have been raising dairy goats since 2022. We have continued to grow and learn more about these animals who have become the heartbeat of our homestead.

Why Goat Milk?
Goat milk is more easily digested than cow milk for many people. Goat milk is naturally A2 and homogenized (the cream doesn't separate), and is delicious when handled correctly. You won't find goaty milk coming from our farm!

Management
Our goats are fed free-choice no-spray grass hay, and during milking they get organic alfalfa pellets and an organic grain that we mix ourselves from barley, oats, and peas. They are rotationally grazed around our property during the growing season. We use holistic approaches to maintaining the health of our herd: no routine chemical wormers, antibiotics, hormones, etc.

Sheep's Milk
While our main focus is goat milk, we have a limited amount of pet quality* raw sheep's milk as well. Sheep milk can be gentler on the system even than goat milk as the fat particles are smaller. Sheep milk is also higher in vitamins A, D, E and zinc than cow or goat milk.
*Our sheep herd has not yet undergone TB/Brucellosis testing for raw milk permitting, but our sheep milk is produced and handled with the same rigorous standards of cleanliness as our goat milk.
